Vanny Mwamba, a native of Congo DRC and former process engineer at Procter & Gamble, is a dedicated advocate for walking. He founded Urban Hikers to promote health, community building, and exploration through walking, having led over 400 city walks. As an accomplished filmmaker, Vanny produced the documentary *Why We Walk*, exploring the cultural and scientific benefits of walking. He also co-founded Urban Hackers, focusing on mental health, city exploration, and film. Serving as a global advisor for the Global Walkable Cities Network (GWCN), Vanny works on making cities more walkable through policy and design. He is writing a book on his walking experiences and creating a web-based app for Urban Hikers. Committed to public speaking, Vanny shares his insights at conferences and workshops. With plans to live in Paris for four months, he aims to expand his Patreon community and further his vision of inspiring daily walking habits and developing Congo as a futurist.
