“I enjoyed walking and conversing with Vanny throughout downtown Cincinnati and Covington Kentucky! I didn’t know much about Cinny, but through the walk I learned a bit about the city and it’s evolving history. Vanny was also very personable and inviting. I had a great time and you will too! “
“This is a long hike. You see a lot and talk a lot to locals and outsiders. You feel invigorated after the walk.

“This was an amazing experience! We’ve been to Cincinnati many times, but after this urban hike, we feel even better acquainted with the city. Often we would just drive to one point of attraction but this was a great way to see the city. And Vanny is amazing! Easy going and great to talk to. Would definitely recommend this experience to anyone!“
“This walk is one of the most valuable adventures I have explored in my life so far. It was all encompassing of the mind, spirit, body and soul. Pure magic. I will be back for a walk again.“
“In an era where online algorithms control many of our interactions with one another, funnelling us into echo chambers with more people just like us, it's fantastic to find an experience like Vanny's Urban Hiking, which is designed to foster authentic engagement and meaningful conversation. The hike isn't intended to teach you anything about the area's buildings or history, but rather to experience the urban environment alongside interesting people with diverse experiences and fresh perspectives. This is one walk that truly IS about the journey, not the destination. Vanny and his fellow urban hikers—shout out to Abde, Toure and the Rev!—met us at a local cafe for introductions over coffee. The environment made for a relaxed encounter. It was a gorgeous day so when we set out for Mount Adams, the pace was casual and the vistas stunning. I appreciated that the route wasn't "curated" to show us only the city's polished side; we followed the roads and overpasses locals use. (Folks with disabilities need to be aware there are a lot of steps to climb, but I'm sure Vanny can tailor routes to suit your abilities.) When we reached the top, we stopped at another cafe for more coffee and a wide-ranging conversation. The walk back down the hill took us through Washington Park, in the heart of OTR's cultural district, and ended in front of the cafe where we began our trip. The urban hikers are an impressive and accomplished group, and my family enjoyed learning about their interests and endeavors, and sharing our own. Vanny is a cerebral and engaging host. His goal of bringing people together, one step at a time, to make the world a more respectful, empathetic and understanding place, is one we should all embrace.“
“An excellent experience to walk the city with people that live there, and that also want to engage in great conversation along the way.“
“ This the best experience i had in longtime, I was able to interact with a range of diverses people on the Hike“
“Amazing hike, amazing people, this is incredible experience “
